Posters poster everywhere!

Does anyone know when the first “poster” was used?  I can’t find that on the net – not even in Wikipedia!

Posters have been used for hundreds of years to spread news, incite public action, help fuel revolutions and even bring down the James Gang!  The coolness and effectiveness of posters really kicked off when printing technology improved from just text to text, designs and images.

For the past 200 years or so, posters have become a medium for communication as well as a highly prized form of collectable art.  I’m constantly amazed at how many orders we get for poster design.

Orders come from the health and wellness community, martial arts, hi-tech, commerce (just to name a few) and my favourite - entertainment.

My favourite poster is one that Rob designed for our NX Files web series.  It’s my favourite because I’M IN IT!!!  ;-)
